Teil 2 ist ein wenig schneller als Teil 1, mehr Action sozusagen. Auch diese Folge ist nicht schlecht gemacht. Eine Sache muss ich loswerden. Mulder soll ja todkrank sein. Er sah aber überhaupt nicht so aus, bevor er verschwand. Natürlich hat man sich das erst hinterher ausgedacht und die Überraschung sollte auch groß sein, aber trotzdem...er war quicklebendig und dadurch wirkt diese Sache nicht gänzlich logisch. Die nächste Sache wäre der Alien-Kopfgeldjäger.
Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass irgendwer ernsthaft dachte, dass es Mulder ist, der da plötzlich vor Gibson auftacht. Oh, und jemand fragte, warum Gibson so erschrickt, als er "Mulder" sieht, obwohl er doch Gedanken lesen kann und den Kopfgeldjäger schon von weitem "hört"...gute Frage.
Oh, hat sich auch noch jemand gefragt, wie eine schwangere Scully (die von ihrer Schwangerschaft bisher ja schon ziemlich negativ beeinflusst wurde, sprich Übelkeit und Ohnmacht) in der glühenden Sonne Arizonas ohne Wasser und Kopfschutz und zu Fuß dem Mädchen (Thea) auf dem Fahrrad so weit und schnell folgen konnte ???? Haha, und sie schwitzt nicht mal. Sie ist eine kleine Wonder-Woman, hmm? :-)
Sehen wir gnädig darüber hinweg. Die Story hat ihre unlogischen Seiten, doch sie ist wie gesagt wenigstens nicht schlecht gedreht oder gespielt. Trotz allem, das hier ist neu und anders. Sehen wir, wie es weitergeht. Doggett arbeitet jetzt mit Scully an den X-Akten. Gewöhnungsbedürftig. Auf jeden Fall gibt es innerhalb der O-Zitate etwas, dass ihr euch unbedingt ansehen solltet, ich habe es auch extra markiert ;-)
O-Zitate: SCULLY: (voiceover) We live in a darkness of our own making... blind to a habitant world all but unseen by us. A world of beings traveling through time and space imaginable to us only as flights of fancy. Who are these beings we dare to imagine but fear to accept? What dark work goes on inside their impossible machines... cloaked from us by invisible forces? If they know our secrets, why can't we know theirs? < Vielleicht sind wir ja einfach nur zu blöd? >
SCULLY: [...] I'm going to come back for you. I promise. I'm not going to let anything bad happen to you. GIBSON PRAISE: You said that to me once before. DOGGETT: All right, you've painted me the picture, now put it in a frame. SKINNER: All right. You've got a good rep, Agent Doggett. You don't compromise, you don't quit. You're a damned good FBI agent - best of the best. Lot of guys put you in the Director's chair one day. Which is why you've been set up to fail. There's no amount of search and rescue or rolling cordons or eyes in the sky that are going to turn up Mulder. It's just the wrong approach.
DOGGETT: It's not a question of approach. It's the only approach I got. SKINNER: The only way you're going to find Mulder is to give into the truth. To listen to Scully. But even then... say you did find him, even then you lose. You put anything about aliens or UFOs or alien bounty hunters in your report... Kersh will ruin you. I'm betting that was his plan. SKINNER: You told me Mulder wouldn't allow it. Wouldn't let me ruin my career over this. Over him. But what about you, Scully? I mean, my god, you've got even more at stake. SCULLY: I-I can't take the chance that I'm never going to see him again.
SCULLY: I know what Agent Mulder would do. He'd do whatever it took. DOGGETT: You mean lie. Like you've been lying to me. And flout orders like you've done every step of the way on this thing. Is that what it takes, Agent Scully? SCULLY: Give a little, get a little, Agent Doggett.
OK, da haben sie es mal wieder getan und ich könnte...argh. Ich mache das mal so: Kann sich jemand an DIESE Szene erinnern?
MULDER: (yelling) Scully! Scully!
Nein ? Hmm...dann kommt sie wohl gar nicht vor und ich habe mir das nur eingebildet...aber nein, halt. Das habe ich nicht. Sie kam vor - IM ORIGINAL.
Aber bei uns in der deutschen Version meinte man wohl wieder, dass das nicht nötig wäre...grrrrrrr. Mulder ruft nach Scully, nachdem die in der Wüste gerade zu Doggett in den Hubschrauber gestiegen ist. Der Zuschauer sieht das UFO und in den USA haben die Fans auch gehört, dass Mulder da drin war und nach Scully rief.
KERSH: So much here is undetermined... as remain the whereabouts of Mulder. But some of your facts... like "a man falls from the cliff and disappears..." "An agent has his throat crushed by an assailant who vanishes into thin air." This reads like a piece of pot-boiled science fiction. DOGGETT: You mean it reads like an X-File.
DOGGETT: My dad always said it's not who wins or loses... it's who takes the worst beating that counts. SCULLY: That supposed to cheer me up? [...] SCULLY: What are you doing here, Agent Doggett? DOGGETT: Keeping you apprised of the case. SCULLY: That's not your job. DOGGETT: It is, actually. And officially. I'm... assigned now to the X-Files. DOGGETT: Whatever you and I may differ on, I'll find him, Agent Scully.
Habe dem nichts mehr hinzuzufügen. Wir werden dann ja sehen, wie sehr die Beiden sich anstrengen, um ihn zu finden...
